The Fivefold Purpose of Girls Ministry:

1. To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance.

2. To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us-developing girls spiritually and mentally.

3. To provide encouragement, support, and accountability.

4. To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities.

5. To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.

History of Girls Ministry
1956-The first Girls Ministry club was offically chartered
1960-Stairway to the Stars introduced
1968-Prims club introduced
1972-Daisies club introduced
1979-Rainbow club introduced
1990-Jr. & Sr. Girls Ministry became known as Stars
1998-Friends Club & Al new curriculum introduced
Girls Ministry Club is a nationwide program involving over 174,000 girls in more than 22,000 clubs.
