needs are varied and it is our desire to minister to each and every
one of you as well as provide you with areas of spiritual growth.
Our goal is to see every woman in the church find a place to serve
according to the gifts she has been given.

Ministries Presents
Women’s Conference 2008 April 17, 18,
19
Speaker:
Lisa Bevere is a speaker and best-selling author of Fight
Like A Girl, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, Out of
Control and Loving It! and Be Angry But Don't Blow It! Through her books
and conferences women of all ages have found release and restoration
as she challenges them to embrace fearless living, find freedom,
and realize they are an answer and not a problem. In addition to
national media. Lisa co-hosts "The Messenger" with her
husband John, which broadcasts to over 200 nations. When she is
not out "fighting like a girl," she makes her home in
Colorado Springs, CO with her husband and four sons.
Speaker: Many of us know Candace
Cameron Bure from ABC's hit television
series, Full House, where we affectionately knew her as "DJ
Tanner". After coming to understand Biblical repentance, Candace
became a true convert. God has transformed the way she thinks and
lives her life. The heart that Candace has for people is reflected
in her everyday life as well as through her involvement in many
charities. Candace shines light on hope, and reminds us that the
role of wife and motherhood is one to be desired. She is speaker
for various churches, colleges, and outreach ministries as well
as a monthly columnist for Christian Women Online Magazine, with
an advice colum entitled, "Candid Candace". After Candace
married NHL star Valeri Bure, she put her career on ice for a while
in order to stay home and raise a full house of her own and has
been happily married for over 10 years. She is a role model to
young women everywhere. Her passions include family, faith, evangelism
and a good game of tennis.
Music: On her new album, Tell
Me What You Know, Christian recording
artist Sara Groves explores what she has learned about being part
of God's redemptive work, lessons on their value of long defeats,
and the defiance of hope in the face of insurmountable odds. Singing
is a second career for Sara. A graduate of Evangel University,
Groves spent four years teaching high school before recording her
indie disc, Past the Wishing, on a shoestring budget in 1998. Groves
is a popular women's conference speaker and also performs at many
young adult and youth events and at several summer festivals.
